switchkey.PlaceaDONOTOPERATEtagonthema-
chineuntilthemalfunctioniscorrected.

Ifafailurethatcauseslossofcontrolsuchassteering,
servicebrakes,orengineoccurs,stopthemachinemo-
tionasquicklyaspossible,removethestarterkeyor
timeddisconnectswitchkey.PlaceaDONOTOPER-
ATEtagonthemachine,andkeepitsecurelyparked
untilthemalfunctioniscorrectedorthemachinecanbe
safelytowed.

chineundercontrol.

Operateanddrivethemachinewithcareandatspeed
compatiblewithconditions.Useextracautionwhenop-
eratingoverroughground,onslopes,andwhenturn-
ing.

ditches,undergroundlines,trees,cliffs,overheadelec-
tricalwires,orareaswherethereisdangerofaland-

movedisabledorstuckmachine.

Beforeyouoperateatnight,checkthatalllampsillumi-

workcorrectly.

Engineexhaustfumescancausedeath.Ifyouoperate
thismachineinanenclosedarea,makesurethereis

Checkallcontrolsinaclearareaandmakesurethe
machineisoperatingcorrectly.Dust,fog,smoke,etc.,
candecreaseyourvisionandcauseanaccident.Stop
themachineordecreasethespeeduntilyoucansee.

Contactwithhighvoltagepowerlines,undergroundca-
bles,etc.,cancauseseriousinjuryordeathfromelec-
trocution.

Beforeyoudriveoroperateinanareawithhighvoltage
lines,cables,orapowerstation,informthepoweror
utilitycompanyofyourintentions.

YouMUSTHAVETHEPOWERDISCONNECTEDOR
KEEPASAFEWORKINGDISTANCEfromanypower
lines,cables,orpowerstations.

Keepallpartsofthemachineasafedistanceawayfrom
thepowersource.Youmustalsoknowanyfederal,
state/provincial,orlocalsafetycodesorregulationsthat
applytothejobsite.

Ifapartofthemachinecomesincontactwithhigh
voltagepower:
1.WarnotherworkersNOTTOTOUCHTHEMA-
CHINEandtostayawayfromthemachine.
2.Ifyoucanbreakcontact,reversetheoperationthat
causedcontactwiththehighvoltagepower,and
movethemachineawayfromthedangerarea.If
youcannotbreakcontactstayinthemachineuntil
theutilitycompanyde-energizesthelineandtells
youthatthepowerisoff.

Ifyouhaveextremeconditions,suchasare,etc.,and
youareforcedtoleavethemachine,donotstepoffthe
machine.Jumpasfarfromthemachineaspossible
withyourfeettogetheranddonottouchthegroundwith
yourhands.
