Modifying Link Configurations
By default, the UTM-1 appliance automatically detects the link speed and duplex. If
desired, you can manually restrict the appliance's ports to a specific link speed and duplex
setting.
To modify a port's link configuration
1. Click Network in the main menu, and click the Ports tab.
The Ports page appears.
2. Next to the desired port, click Edit.
The Port Setup page appears.
3. In the Link Configuration drop-down list, do one of the following:
• Select the desired link speed and duplex.
• Select Automatic Detection to configure the port to automatically detect the
link speed and duplex.
This is the default.
4. Click Apply.
A warning message appears.
5. Click OK.
The port uses the specified link speed and duplex.
