STARTING AND STOPPING ENGINE
Start the engine, sitting on the
driver's seat.
Inform everyone around of en-
gine starting before doing so.

art the engine with each
clutch lever in the "Disen-
gage" position.
Th
e engine cannot be started
due to the safety switch un-
less the main shift lever is in
the "
Neutral" position.
If the engine fails to start in 10
seconds after turning the main
s
witch to the "START" posi-
tion, turn the main switch to
the "OFF" position, wait for 30
seconds and try again. Keep-
ing the main switch in the
"START" position for over 10
seconds can damage the start
motor.

CAUTION
STARTING ENGINE
After the engine is started,
idle the engine for 5 to 10
minutes before work. (Make
sure to warm up the engine to
facilitate rapid oil circulation
especially when the ambient
temperature is below 0℃.)
When starting the engine on
a steep slope, depress the
parking brake pedal and place
the range shift lever out of the
neutral position.
