Cylinder / Piston
 Install the piston, piston pin on the connecting
rod.
 Install new piston pin clips.
 Install the piston with the INmark facing
towards the intake side.
 Place a shop towel over the opening to prevent
piston pin clips from falling into the crankcase.
 Make sure that the piston clips are seated
properly and their end gaps are not aligned
with the cutout in the piston.
 Install a new gasket and the dowel pins.
 Coat the cylinder inside, piston rings with
clean engine oil and install the piston ring.
 Be careful not to damage piston rings.
 Be careful to prevent cam chain from falling
into the crankcase.

