ERI Timeout

PROGRAMMING bar codes
Sets the ERI timeout duration using hex values from 000 to 255 in increments of ten milliseconds (10ms or 0.01 sec-
onds). To configure this feature, scan the “START/END” bar c
ode above to place the unit in Programming Mode, then
the “Set ERI Timeout,” followed by the two digits (zero padded) from the Alphanumeric table in
Appendix C,
repre-
senting the desired time value. Exit programming mode
by scanning the “START/END” bar code again.
DEFAULT SETTING FOR THIS FEATURE: 20 milliseconds (02)
Set ERI Timeout
Specifies the amount of time the External Read Indicator (ERI) signal is held
active for a good read.
