Snapshots List
Snapshots can be created, renamed, reordered, duplicated,
searched, targeted, recalled, and deleted from the Snapshots
list.
Snapshot Command Buttons
Disable Temporarily disables the storage, recall, and manage-
ment of snapshots. While snapshots are disabled, you can tar-
get snapshots in the Snapshots list to preview their properties,
but you cannot recall them.
Scope Follows Turns off filtering of data types when recalling
snapshots, by automatically adjusting the scope to reflect all
data types stored in the targeted snapshot.
Recall Recalls the targeted snapshot, updating the console to
reflect the status of all scoped data types and channels in the
snapshot.
Store Stores the current state of the console in the targeted
snapshot for all currently scoped data types and channels,
overwriting any existing data in the snapshot.
Propagate Updates targeted snapshots to reflect the state of
any currently scoped data types and channels that are present
in the snapshots.
Undo Returns the console to its state before the last snapshot
command.
New Creates a new snapshot that captures the current state of
all scoped data types and channels.
Duplicate Creates a copy of the targeted snapshots.
Clear Clears the contents of the targeted snapshot, but retains
the MTC information for the snapshot.
Delete Deletes the targeted snapshot.
Snapshot Scope Controls
The Snapshot Data Type buttons and Channels work to-
gether, acting as a filter for which data types are stored or re-
called for which channels on the console.
The buttons and channels indicate two conditions at the same
time: what data is present in a targeted snapshot, and what
data will be stored in or recalled from that snapshot with the
next applicable command.
Data Types and Channels Present in the Targeted Snapshot
The Data Type buttons and Channels indicate which data
types and channels are present in the currently targeted snap-
shot by their bold (present) or dimmed (not present) state.
Data Types and Channels Scoped for Storage or Recall
The Data Type buttons and Channels also indicate which data
types and channels are scoped (enabled for storage or recall),
by their red color, or not scoped (disabled for storage or recall),
by their grey color.
Scope States
Present, Scoped Bold red display indicates that the data type
or channel is present in the targeted snapshot, and currently
scoped. The data type will be affected by Store, Recall, Propa-
gate and New commands.
Present, Not Scoped Bold gray display indicates that the data
type or channel is present in the targeted snapshot, but not cur-
rently scoped. The data type will not be affected by Store, Recall,
Propagate and New commands.
Not Present, Scoped Dimmed red display indicates that the
data type or channel is not present in the targeted snapshot,
but currently scoped. Because the data type is not included in
the targeted snapshot, it will not be affected by the Recall
command. However, it will be affected by the Store and New
commands, and included in the scope of a stored or newly cre-
ated snapshot.
Not Present, Not Scoped Dimmed gray display indicates that
the data type or channel is not present in the targeted snap-
shot, and not currently scoped. The data type will not be af-
fected by Store, Recall, Propagate and New commands.
