Personal Q Mixers
Each of the 8 available Personal Q mixers can receive up to 12 channels of input, including 8 channels from Groups or Auxes, 3
channels from the Mains (L–R+M or L–C–R), and a user-selected input. Each Personal Q mixer has a stereo output.
Personal Q Controller System
With the optional Personal Q Controller system, performers
can adjust the controls in the Personal Q mixer from a remote
location. See the Personal Q Guide for details.
Configuring Matrix and PQ Mixers
The input sources for Matrix mixers and PQ mixers are config-
ured in the Pickoffs tab of the Options page.
Groups and Auxes
The first 8 inputs to the Matrix and PQ mixers can be set to re-
ceive signal from Group or Aux busses (pre- or post-fader):
Groups
Mono Group Configuration If the 8 Group busses are configured
to be mono, all 8 Groups appear on the Matrix or PQ mixer.
Stereo Group Configuration If the 8 Group busses are config-
ured to be stereo, only the left and right channels of Groups
1–4 appear on the Matrix or PQ mixer. (The outputs of stereo
Groups 5–8 are unavailable.)
Auxes
8 Aux Configuration If the system is configured to have 8 Aux
busses, all 8 appear on the Matrix or PQ mixer.
16 Aux Configuration If the system is configured to have 16
Aux busses, only Auxes 1–8 appear on the Matrix or PQ mixer.
(The outputs of Auxes 9–16 are unavailable.)
Mains
The next 3 inputs to the Matrix and PQ mixers can receive sig-
nal from the Main busses (pre- or post-fader). The channel
names reflect whether the Mains are configured as L–R+M or
L–C–R.
To configure the Matrix and PQ mixers:
1 Go to the Options page and click the Pickoffs tab.
2 Under Matrix Sources, select the input source for channels
1–8 of the Matrix mixer and for channels 1–8 of the PQ mixer.
Choices include Groups (pre- or post-fader) and Auxes (pre- or
post-fader).

If no PQ Controllers are used, the PQ mixers are still avail-
able for use as stereo Matrix mixers controllable from the
console.
