INTRODUCTION
If the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided
by the equipment may be impaired.
Directions for safe working practices vary according to the environment. The following are broad
principles so that necessary precautions can be taken:

Do not operate a the printer outdoors or in an environment outside of the specified
•
operating range. This product is for indoor use only.

Do not install or operate the printer in an environment where it can be exposed to water.•
• Avoid using and storing the printer in high dust environments.•
• Read the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before storing, handling, transporting or using the ink•
cartridges.
• Protect the printer from electrical surges or low voltage conditions by using a UPS•
(Uninterruptible Power Source).
• Turn o and disconnect electrical power to the printer before making any wiring•
connections.
• Turn o and disconnect electrical power to the printer before connecting or disconnecting•
a print head.
• Make sure all cables are secured away from moving production line components.•
• Stop printing before removing and/or installing an ink cartridge.•
• Use only lint-free wipes when cleaning the cartridge nozzles.•
• Clean cartridge nozzles according to the enclosed recommendations.•
•
Protect the print heads from impact with proper adjustment and alignment of side rails and
•
product guides.
•
Do not open any enclosed components. They contain no user-serviceable parts.
•

Only use accessories that are approved by the manufacturer.
•

Dispose of batteries, electrical and electronic products separately at an appropriate
•
collection point. Do not put batteries, electrical and electronic products in the normal
domestic waste stream.
