VDC SETTINGS
To view the VDC (variable data connection) settings:

From the Home screen, select the Settings icon:

VDC (Variable Data Connection)
VDC (variable data capture) enables pre-defined parts of a label (database objects and dynamic
graphics objects) to be populated with data sent from an external device. Data is stored in a
buer queue within the printer's memory in advance of printing.
If printing stops when VDC is in use, the printer's data buer queue will be emptied. Data will
need to be transmitted to the printer again.
Data can be sent to the printer via 1 of the methods listed below:
• TCP/IP•
• COM (RS485)•
• INPUT•
• Barcode Scanner (Connected via USB)•

To enable and setup VDC:
