VDC SETTINGS
To view the VDC (variable data connection) settings:

From the Home screen, select the Settings icon:

VDC (Variable Data Connection)
VDC (variable data capture) enables pre-defined parts of a label (database objects and dynamic
graphics objects) to be populated with data sent from an external device. Data is stored in a
buer queue within the printer's memory in advance of printing.
If printing stops when VDC is in use, the printer's data buer queue will be emptied. Data will
need to be transmitted to the printer again.
Data can be sent to the printer via 1 of the methods listed below:
• TCP/IP•
• COM (RS485)•
• INPUT•
• Barcode Scanner (Connected via USB)•

To enable and setup VDC:
