Alarm Beacon
An alarm beacon can be connected to let users monitor the printer's status from a distance.
# Value Description
5 24 V 24 V DC electrical power output.
Protected by a 3 A fuse.
Maximum current output: 1.5 A.
7 STOP Output to activate red beacon light.
Active low, open drain output.
47 K Ohm internal pull-up resistor to +24 V.
When this output is active, the printer has stopped printing
because of one of the reasons below:

No ink cartridge
•
•
Invalid ink cartridge
•
• Empty ink cartridge•
• Speed limit
•
• VDC/Real Time Printing Speed Overload•
9 RUN Output to activate green beacon light.
Active low, open drain output.
47 K Ohm internal pull-up resistor to +24 V.
This output is active when one of the reasons below occurs:
•
The user has selected the "Print" button.
•
•
The printer is printing with no problems.
•
15 ALARM Output to activate green beacon light.
Active low, open drain output.
47 K Ohm internal pull-up resistor to +24 V.
This output is active when the printer has a problem, but it is still
able to print. For example, the ink level may be low.
