18 iMeter2 Components Replacement Procedures
WARNING!
Before removing any components, as discussed in the following sections, in the hydraulics
cabinet or in the hydraulic system of the dispenser, you should trip the impact valve, remove
power to the submersible pump for the product(s) in question, drain hose and relieve pressure
from the system.
WARNING!
Catch fuel using an appropriate container and pour it into an underground tank to prevent fuel
drainage under and around the dispenser.
18.1 Proportional Valve
Reference photos (A) through (C) during this procedure.

Trip the emergency shear valve.

Run a sale to drain line and relieve pressure.

Power down the dispenser and submersible pump at the circuit breakers inside the building.

Place absorbent pads and a container under the valve to catch fuel.

Push down on the name plate on top of the coil, then remove clip and name plate. (A)

Raise coil/conduit assembly up and rotate away from valve. Save spring washer under coil.

For the far right valve only: To replace the far right valve (as viewed from side A), it will be
necessary to disconnect the product tube at the top of the outlet casting in order to get enough
flexibility to remove the tube from the proportional valve and access the valve retaining plate
screws.
