Check for any leaks at the meter dome or cylinder cover.

Purge the meter, then calibrate both sides and seal the WIP/meter.
18.5 iMeter 2 WIP Replacement
The iMeter2 WIP is in a green case. It is not interchangeable with the Xflo meter XWIP (blue
case) or the iMeter (iMeter1) WIP (black case).

Cut and remove the seal wires on both calibration doors on the pulser.

Remove the calibration seal pins (slats).

Loosen the (2) 5 mm hex socket head screws that secure the WIP to the meter and remove
the WIP.

Press the two plastic tabs on end of pulser, lower the plastic cover, remove the rubber cap
that covers the connector, and disconnect the cable.

Connect the cable to the new WIP. Align carefully. The cable connector and the 8-pin WIP
connector can be misaligned. Misaligned connector pins at the pulser will prevent proper
mode setting and calibration. Pin 1 on the WIP is located at the bottom of the connector as
shown in the diagram below.

Re-install the rubber cap over top of connector and secure the plastic cover back in place
over the rubber cap and cable. Both ends of the cover must be snapped in place.

Install the new WIP and secure with the (2) screws. Do not install new seal wires at this time.

Follow the Meter Verification Accuracy procedure in the service manual, then continue with
the iMeter calibration procedure.

Install the seal pins and seal wires as shown in the meter calibration section.
