NOTE: Any disruption in the main
power to the ight console (ie.
Turning the “Panel Master” key
switch off during operations) will
require a shutdown and re-start of
the ELITE program
.
SHUTTING DOWN THE PI-135
To shut down the PI-135, you can use the 1.
key combination “Alt + Q” on the keyboard or
by opening the ELITE Menu and left clicking
on QUIT.
At the Windows desktop, the Operator should 2.
use the typical Windows “START BUTTON” /
SHUTDOWN” process.
When the computer has shut down, turn the 3.
key on the Pro Panel ight console to OFF.
Turn off the Main monitor and the Instructor 4.
Monitor.
NOTE: The hour meter continues to run when the Pro
Panel ight console master key is ON!
CONFIGURATION
It is recommended that this page be reviewed carefully.
After con guring to your satisfaction, press the SAVE
button to keep all values. These selections are stored in a
PREF folder in the program directory. These values will be
read when starting the program. Once set, you will seldom
need to go to this page. The instructor or operator can set
a password to prevent access to the Con guration Page.
Certain features of each aircraft can be changed or
con gured to personal preference or training requirement.
An example of Con guration was the control calibration
performed in item 9 above. Some settings are general
and apply to all aircraft being own and some settings
