MEDEA Programming Manual
51
By selecting the type of contact, the reference diagram is proposed with the balancing resistors named
according to the order R1, R2 and R3, whose values must be entered in the respective boxes.
Description: The description of the balancing customisation can be entered here.
Contact Type: This indicates the electrical diagram used to wire the sensors.
Resistance R1 (KΩ): Enter the resistive value of the resistor named R1 according to the suggested
diagram here.
Resistance R2 (KΩ): Enter the resistive value of the resistor named R2 according to the suggested
diagram here.
Resistance R3 (KΩ): Enter the resistive value of the resistor named R3 according to the suggested
diagram here.
To know the value of each resistor, refer to the colour code or measure with a multimeter selecting the
reading in the value of each resistor. Remember that the resistive value must be measured with
the device (sensor) disconnected, by inserting the test leads of the multimeter on the two leads of the
resistor.
