Application Development for Image Scanner
This section explains key words in a question and answer format and the single-pass processing
for developing a system with the TM-H6000III with the image scanner.
7.1 The flow of single pass processing
The following figures introduce you to “smart pass processing.“ This processing provides you
MICR reading, slip printing (face & endorsement), and scanning a check with one time insertion.
1. When the check is inserted. 2. MICR reading is completed.
3. Pre-scanning has been done.
(This step is required when you scan with bi-tonal data
format only)
4. Print position for the endorsement printing has been
set (based on the bottom edge of the paper). The
area for reverse printing is limited; therefore when
setting the print area, be sure to note that the
endorsement printing cannot be done within 6.9 mm
(typical) from the bottom of the paper.
