4.4.9.6 LOWER BEARING
1. Remove the TOP COVER (right only). (p85)
2. Remove the PANEL COVER, T (p86) and MAINTE COVER T (p88).
3. Unlock the Carriage. (p83)
4. Open the FRONT CLEAR COVER.
5. Remove the CR Cover (Step 4 to 6 in 4.4.5.3 COOLING FAN). (p104)
6. Move the carriage to the position shown in Figure 4-121.
7. Remove the screw that secures the Plate R.

8. Remove the Plate R by sliding it to the right while supporting the LOWER
BEARING at the bottom.

Basically you can remove this part on the left and the one on the
right in the same way. Therefore this section describes the way to
remove the one on the right only.

Place a sheet of paper or the like in advance to prevent parts from
falling inside the main body in the next step.

When removing the Plate R in the next step, make sure to remove it
while supporting the LOWER BEARING at the bottom.
Otherwise; if removed with the spring extended, the LOWER
BEARING might be damaged.
