The Stylus Scan prints out its ROM version number and the
ink counter codes, and then prints a nozzle check pattern.
Here are sample printouts.

Print head needs to be cleaned
The above sample is in black and white, but the actual test prints in color (CMYK).
If the quality is not satisfactory (for example, if a line segment
is missing), you may need to clean or align the print head. For
information on cleaning the print head, see the next section.

Print Head” on page 11-10.
