Initialization Methods
The scanner can be initialized (returned to a fixed set of
conditions) in the following ways:
Safety Approvals
Hardware initialization: This scanner is initialized when turning the printer
power on. When scanner is initialized, following
action is performed.
a) Initializes scanner mechanism.
b) Clears input/output data buffer.
C) Sets default values.
Software initialization: The ESC @ command also initializes the printer.
When printer is initialized, following action is
performed.
a) Clears input/output data buffer.
b) Sets default values.
Operator initialization: This scanner is recognized the INIT (negative pulse)
of parallel interface. When printer is initialized,
following action is performed.
a) Clears input/output data buffer.
b) Sets default values.
