  If your FARGO electronics Printer displays a 'Headlift Motor or Sensor Error', the Headlift Sensor isn't detecting movement from the Headlift Cam. Press the Cancel Print button on the Driver Monitor Error Display Message. You can also try rebooting the Printer by cycling the power, cycling the Headlift Motors, checking the Headlift Motor Main Board Connection, testing the Headlift Sensor, replacing the Headlift Motor, or replacing the Main Board.

Press the Cancel Print button on the Driver Monitor Error Display Message, or reboot the Printer by cycling the power. Also, verify that the Printer has a Magnetic Encoder installed.

If cards are loaded properly, verify the Driver settings. Also, verify that data is being encoded to the Magnetic Stripe and that the coercivity of the cards matches the Driver Settings.
