7 Operations of CEMS-2000
Monitoring Software
After CEMS-2000 System is installed, it will create a shortcut on the desktop . Users
can click this shortcut to enter the online pollutants monitoring management system, as shown in 0.
The software is composed of:
z Menu bar: This component is shared with all pages including 6 function menus: system
management, system configuration, instrument management, system report, system help
and window.
z Navigation bar: This component is shared with all pages and offers quick access to the
menus same as the menu bar, including 6 function menus: system management, system
configuration, instrument management, system report, system help and window. Click
on the navigation bar, it will expand its sub-menus, as shown in 0.
z Real-time data area: This area displays the real-time system data. It is divided into
sub-areas of dry base value, wet base value, converted value, emission rate and
environment parameter, displaying the name, measured value and unit of the pollutant.
z Real-time curve area: This area displays the system data in graphics and curves.
z Information bar: This area displays the system running information including normal
information, alert information and error information.
z Status bar: This area displays the time and current user of during the system running.
The system defines the role of administrator and operator and set different permissions
for them. Table 7-1 lists the initial passwords and permissions for the two types of users.
