Installing the Print Driver/Scan Driver
To enable the machine to print and scan, you need to install respective drivers on your
computer.
The following drivers are included in the Media (Software/Product Manual).
The Media (Software/Product Manual) offers the two types of installation menus: Quick
Setup and Custom Installation.
Quick Setup allows you to install easily the following drivers and software:

Print Driver
z
Scanner Driver
z
Print & Scan Hub

To install a specific driver, use the Custom Installation menu.

For more information, refer to the Media Information included in the Media (Software/Product Manual).
Driver Name Description
Print Driver The recommended print driver for this model
Common Print Driver The V4 print driver which can be used commonly for various models
z
Common Print Driver is suitable for printing from Windows store
applications such as Microsoft Edge.
z
Some features are not available for printing from desktop
applications.
z
Common Print Driver is available only for Windows 8.1 or later.
Scanner Driver Includes the following:

TWAIN-compatible Scan Driver
z
Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)-compatible Scan Driver
