Configuring Hardware and Utilities
■ The ATA Controller Config Submenu
Sets the Serial ATA.
USB Host Controller  Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not to use the USB controller (2.0 
or 1.1 standard).
USB 2.0 Host Controller Enabled (Unchangeable)
USB BIOS Supported 
Devices
Auto (Unchangeable) Sets which type of USB device should be used in 
BIOS.
USB Boot Delay 0 sec. (Unchangeable) Sets the waiting time for booting from a USB 
device.
USB BIOS Hot-Plug Enabled (Unchangeable) Allows Hot-Plug of the USB device used for BIOS.
ATA Controller Config Configures additional settings.

Diskette Controller Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not to enable the floppy disk 
controller.
Mouse Controller Auto Detect 
(Unchangeable)
Sets whether or not to use the mouse connected to 
the mouse port.
Onboard Video Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not to enable the onboard video 
controller.
SAS Controller  Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not to enable the onboard SAS 
controller.
SAS Option ROM Scan Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not to initialize the extended ROM.
RAID Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not to enable RAID.
LAN Controller Channel A & B 
(Unchangeable)
Sets whether or not to enable the onboard LAN 
controller (channel A, or channel A & B).
LAN Remote Boot • Disabled (Initial value)

Sets whether or not the OS may be loaded from the 
server. This function is used especially when no 
floppy disk drive or hard disk drive are installed, or 
when both are turned off.
LAN Remote Boot Ch.B
Management LAN Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether or not the iRMC uses  LAN B. The 
iRMC uses the channel B of the onboard LAN 
shared with the OS.
