■ Server Management Tools Error Messages
The following error messages may appear while executing Server Management Tools. Perform the
corresponding resolution listed in the table. If messages other than the following are displayed, contact
an office listed in the "Contact Information" of the "Start Guide".
Power supply fan status is warning PSU fan rotation error. Replace the PSU fan. If the message still
appears, the baseboard must be replaced. Contact an office listed
in the "Contact Information" of "Start Guide".
Power supply fan status is critical
System fan status is warning System fan rotation error. Replace the system fan. If the
message still appears, the baseboard must be replaced. Contact
an office listed in the "Contact Information" of "Start Guide".
System fan status is critical
System board voltage status is warning Baseboard voltage error. The baseboard must be replaced.
Contact an office listed in the "Contact Information" of "Start
Guide".
System board voltage status is critical
Ambient temperature status is warning Ambient temperature error. Check the environment where the
server is used. If the message still appears, the ambient
temperature sensor or the baseboard must be replaced. Contact
an office listed in the "Contact Information" of "Start Guide".
Ambient temperature status is critical
Memory module error Memory module error. Check the installed memory and replace
it if necessary. If the message still appears, the baseboard must
be replaced. Contact an office listed in the "Contact
Information" of "Start Guide".
System temperature status is warning Baseboard temperature error. Check the environment where the
server is used. If the message still appears, the baseboard must
be replaced. Contact an office listed in the "Contact
Information" of "Start Guide".
System temperature status is critical
No Usable CPU Installed CPU error. Replace the CPU. If the message still
appears, the baseboard must be replaced. Contact an office listed
in the "Contact Information" of "Start Guide". After the
replacement, enable the CPU in the BIOS Setup Utility.
No Usable Memory Memory error. Check the error log and replace the memory
module. If the message still appears, the baseboard must be
replaced. Contact an office listed in the "Contact Information"
of "Start Guide". After the replacement, enable the use of the
memory in the BIOS Setup Utility.
RAID configuration Error Onboard RAID error. Replace the cache memory for onboard
RAID. If the message still appears, the baseboard must be
replaced. Contact an office listed in the "Contact Information"
of "Start Guide".

Message Description
Write protect error writing drive A.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
The inserted floppy disk is write-protected. Disable the
write-protect, and then press the [R] key.
Not ready writing drive A.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
The floppy disk is not inserted into the floppy disk
drive. Insert the proper floppy disk ("Server
Management Tools" floppy disk), and then press the
[R] key.
