6.2 Editing Information for Extension Numbers
You can edit the information for extension numbers.
1. Referring to section 6.1, login as an Administrator.
2. Click [Admin] in the menu bar.
3. Click [Telephony Settings].
4. Click [Phone List] to show the [Phone List] menu.
Item Description
No. Extension number
You can select the extension number via the IP Handset only.
See section 3.6.2.
The extension number assigned to each of the analog ports on
the Communication Unit is as follows:
Analog port 1: 0301
Analog port 2: 0302
Analog port 3*: 0303
Analog port 4*: 0304
*: ports 3 & 4 require connection with the Telport Extender FB-
3002 (available as an optional extra).
Ready
(Blue icon): The extension number is registered and handset
can be used for communication.
(Yellow icon): The extension number is registered, but the
handset is not connected.
Blank: The extension number is available.
Analog handsets always show the blue icon .
Nickname Shows the nickname.
If no nickname is registered, the column is blank.
Out. Svce. Shows the outgoing service "Voice", "FAX", or "Auto".
Inc. Svce. Shows the incoming service "Voice" or "FAX".
Ext. Call Shows "9" for the phone is allowed for outside incoming and out-
going calls.
Caller Code Shows "9" for the phone which the caller code is requested.
