2.1.3 How to answer a call
1. When the IP Handset rings, release the IP Handset from the cradle. If the handset
is not cradled when the call is received, press the key.
If the call is from one of the subscribers described below, the name of the caller
appears.
If the caller is saved in [Contacts] list, the registered name appears.
If a nickname is set for a IP Handset, the nickname of the internal phone ap-
pears. See section 3.6.2.
Rescue call: "Distress" appears.
2. Talk to caller.
3. When conversation is finished, press the key or replace the IP Handset in
the cradle to end the call
4. Press the key to go back to the main screen.
Note: If an incoming called is not answered, a notification pop-up window appears on
the main screen. Further the missed call icon appears on the status bar. Calls re-
ceived from an external number and which are not answered from any handset are
considered missed calls and also show the appropriate icon.
If the number is hidden,
“No caller ID” appears.
