2.1.4 Hands-free function
The hands-free function lets you make or answer calls, without holding the handset.
This leave your hands free to do other important tasks, like steering your vessel.
To activate the hands-free function, press the key with the IP Handset on the cra-
dle when you make or answer a call. The color of the screen changes to blue, as
shown below, while hands-free is in use.
To deactivate the hands-free function, release the IP Handset from the cradle.
Press the key to end the call.
The screenshots in this manual are taken with the hands-free function inactive.
2.1.5 How to operate the [Call] screen sub-menu
1. At the main screen, press the key.
2. Press the key to open the sub-menu.

Add the input number in the [Contacts] list. See section 2.2.1.
This menu appears in gray when the memory capacity is reached (200 contacts).

Select a contact to call from the [Contacts] list. See "How to call from the [Con-
tacts] list" on page 2-4.
This menu appears in gray if no numbers are stored in the [Contacts] list.

Select a number to call from the [History] screen. See "How to call from the [His-
tory] screen" on page 2-3.
