5.6.2 How to send an SMS message
You can send an SMS message to the terminal enabled SMS.
1. Click [SMS] in the menu bar. to show the [Inbox] (SMS top screen) menu.
2. Click [Create New Message] in the sub menu to show the [Create New Message]
menu.
For [GSM] in the [Encode] box
3. Use one of the following two methods to select recipient:
Input a phone number: Input a phone number of a recipient in the [To] field. You
can use a maximum of 32 characters. The available characters are numeric, "#",
"*", and "+".
To get a recipient from contacts list, do the following:
a) Click the [Contacts] button on the right side of the [To] field.
The following display appears.
b) Put a [ ] in the radio button on the left side of the contact (click the button to
add [ ]) to select.
You can look for the contact with the search box. Input a part of a contact name
or phone number in the search box.
Once a word or number is input, the search automatically begins.
Contacts that match the input search criteria appear in the list.
