6.13 How to Import/Export Settings Data
You can save (export) the Web interface settings and data, as a backup file, to a PC.
The backup file can also be applied to the Web interface.
6.13.1 How to export settings
To export Web interface settings data to a PC, do the following:
1. Referring to section 6.1, login as an Administrator.
2. Click [Admin] in the menu bar.
3. Click [Backup Settings].
4. Click [Import/Export] to show the [Import/Export] menu.
5. Click the [Export] button.
The message "Input a password for the export file if necessary." appears.
6. Input a password as necessary. This password will be requested when the set-
tings are imported.
7. Click the [OK] button.
The [Save] dialog box appears.
8. Enter a file name and select the save destination, then click the [Save] button.
The settings data is saved in zip format.
Note: Do not unzip the archives. Unzipped files cannot be imported.
6.13.2 How to import settings
To import settings data saved in a PC do the following procedure. Current settings will
be overwritten with the imported data.
1. Referring to section 6.1, login as an Administrator.
2. Click [Admin] in the menu bar.
3. Click [Backup Settings].
4. Click [Import/Export] to show the [Import/Export] menu.
5. Click the [Import] button.
The message "The Communication Unit will restart after file import. Are you
sure?" appears.
6. Click [OK] button.
The [Open] dialog box appears.
7. Select the zip file of the settings data to import, then click the [Open] button.
The message "Input a password for the import file if necessary" appears.
8. If a password was set when the settings were exported, input the password.
9. Click the [OK] button.
10. Input the administrator password.
