5.7 Satellite Search
You can set to automatically or manually search and track satellites.
1. Click [Home] in the menu bar.
2. Click [Satellite Selection] to show the [Satellite Selection] menu.
3. Select [AUTO], [APAC], [EMEA], [AMER], or [MEAS] at the [Satellite Selection]
item in the [Settings] field.
AUTO: Automatically select a satellite based on own ship position.
APAC/EMEA/AMER/MEAS: Select the fleet broadband service area to use. See
the following map for each service area.
4. Click the [Apply] button.
The message "Applied." appears.
5. Click the [Close] button.
Item Description
Sat. ID Satellite ID
Name Satellite name
Longitude Satellite position (longitude).
Primary Frequency Primary global satellite channel frequency.
Alternate Frequency Alternate global satellite channel frequency
