6.8.9 How to setup a VPN pass-through
A VPN pass-through lets you connect to outside VPNs (Virtual Private Network) using
IPSec.
Note: To setup a VPN pass-through, [Group Type] must be set to other than [Bridge]
or [PPoE].
You can setup a VPN pass-through for your network with the following procedure.
1. Referring to section 6.1, login as an Administrator.
2. Click [Admin], [Network Settings], [WAN], then [Groups].
3. Click the [Settings] button for the group whose IP filter you want to setup.
4. Click [VPN].
5. Referring to the following table, set up VPN according to your system.
6. Click the [Apply] button.
The message "Applied." appears.
7. Click the [Close] button to close the message.
Item Description
Pass through Put a [9] in the box to activate pass-through for IPSec VPNs.
The default setting is "unchecked".
Apply button Apply the setting.
Cancel button Restore the previous setting.
