5.4 Data Connection
There are two types of IP packet communication services:
*: The streaming IP packet communication method provides a guaranteed bandwidth.
Use this option for applications which require a specific bandwidth.
Note: The cost of streaming IP packet communication may be unexpectedly high, so
please use with caution.
5.4.1 How to connect to the internet
Follow the procedure shown below to connect to the internet via "Router mode" and
"Bridge". If you connect to the internet via PPPoE, see section 6.8.2.
Note: You cannot connect to the internet if the dashboard Shows [No permission] in
the [Communication Status] field.
1. Click [Home] in the menu bar.
2. Click [Data Connection] in the sub menu.
The menu appears; the contents are similar to the below example.
This screen shows the groups available for connection, along with their connec-
tion status. See section 6.8 for how to create the connection list. If you are logged
in as an administrator, the all groups, regardless of availability, are shown on this
screen.
The groups for "PPPoE" and "AT Command" appear only when their data connec-
tion are activated.
