3.6.1 Network settings
You can make the network settings for the IP Handset and the Communication Unit.
For IP Handset
1. In the [Admin Settings] menu, press S to select the [Network] menu, then press
the Enter key.
The [Network] menu appears.
2. Press S to select the [HS TCP/IP] menu, then press the Enter key.
The [HS TCP/IP] screen appears.
3. Press W or X to select [Auto] or [Manual], then press the Enter key.
• [Auto]: the system automatically assigns an IP address to the handset. If you
select [Auto], the Communication Unit must also have DHCP enabled (see
section 6.6.1). Go to step 16.
• [Manual]: allows you to manually set the IP address for the handset. Continue
to the next step in this procedure.
4. With the IP Address field selected, press W or X to select a cell to input the IP
address.
5. Press the 0 to 9 key to input a part of the IP address in the cell.
6. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to input the IP address in the cells.
7. Press S or T to select the [Subnet Mask] field.
