8. Press W or X to select a cell to input the subnet mask.
9. Press the 0 to 9 key to input a part of the subnet mask in the cell.
10. Repeat steps 9 and 10 to input the subnet mask in the cells.
11. Press T to select the [Default Gateway] field.
12. Press W or X to select a cell to input the default gateway.
13. Press the 0 to 9 key to input a part of the default gateway in the cell.
14. Repeat steps 13 and 14 to input the default gateway in the cells.
15. Press the Enter key to confirm the settings.
The following screen appears.
If the input value is incorrect, the message "Invalid value(s)." appears. The color
of the incorrect value changes to red.
16. Press the key to go back to the main screen.
Connecting to the Communication Unit
To connect the handset with the communication unit, do the following:
1. In the [Admin Settings] menu, press S to select the [Network] menu, then press
the Enter key.
2. Press T to select the [Comm. Unit IP] menu, then press the Enter key.
The [Comm. Unit IP] screen appears.
3. Press W or X to select [Auto] or [Manual].
For [Auto], go to step 9. For [Manual], go to step 4.
4. Press S or T to select the [IP Address] field.
5. Press W or X to select a cell to input the IP address. This address must match the
Communication Unit’s IP address.
6. Press the 0 to 9 key to input a part of the IP address in the cell.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to input the IP address in the cells.
