6.8 WAN Settings
The FELCOM251/501 provides multiple WAN groups which have independent data
connection with different filtering policy for the connected equipment. So you can
make your own groups, like a group for business use and a group for private use. The
network administrator is responsible for the group/network design.
1. Referring to section 6.1, login as an Administrator.
2. Click [Admin] in the menu bar.
3. Click [Network Settings].
4. Click [WAN].
5. Click [Groups] to show the [Groups] menu.
Item Description
Delete button Delete the item having a checkmark [9].
Put a [9] in the box on the left side of the item to delete.
It is not possible to delete the groups that have an active data con-
nection.
Add group button Create a new WAN group. Up to ten groups can be created. The
creation pop-up window appears.
Connection Type Shows "Router", "AT Command", "PPPoE", or "Bridge".
Group Name Shows the registered group name.
APN Display Access Point Name. (If an Access Point registered in the
SIM card is used: "(SIM) Access Point Name" appears.)
WAN IP • Data connection in use: WAN IP address appears.
• Not connected: "--" appears.
Settings button Shows the group setting screen.
You can check or edit the registered contents in each group.
