1.5.2 How to input characters
Input alphabet and numeric characters using the keys on the IP Handset. Press the
key once to input a number, or press repeatedly to cycle through alphabet characters.
Example of text input
For example, to input "furuno" at the text input screen, do the following:
1. With [abAB] selected in the lower right of the screen, press the 3 key three times.
2. Press the 8 key two times.
Note: Press the key to delete the character.
3. Press the 7 key three times.
4. Press the 8 key two times.
5. Press the 6 key two times.
6. Press the X key to move the cursor right one space.
Use this method to move the cursor when you want to use the same key for a dif-
ferent character.
7. Press the 6 key three times.
