c) Click the [Select] button to confirm the selection.
Click the [Cancel] button go back to the previous display without selecting.
4. At [Delivery Notification], check, or uncheck the box as required.
• Checked: receive a notification when the message is successfully delivered.
• Unchecked: no notification is received when the message is delivered.
Note: You can preset the [Delivery Notification] box depending on which option
you use most frequently. See "How to set up delivery notifications" on page 5-22.
5. Click the [Encode] box, then select [GSM] or [Unicode] as required.
[GSM]: Standard alphanumeric input only.
[Unicode]: Use Unicode characters (Japanese/Chinese script, etc).
6. Write a message in the [Message] field.
7. Click the [Send] button to send the message.
When send is completed, "SMS has sent." appears.
Click the [Cancel] button to delete the contents in both the [To] and [Message]
field.
Note: If the message could not be sent, "Failed to send SMS. Try again." appears.
The message is saved to the unsent box. Click [OK] to return to the SMS top
screen.
8. Click the [Close] button.
