5. Referring to the following table, set up the DNS filter according to your application
and system.
6. Click the [Add filter] button.
7. Input, or change the domain name to block or pass.
Although access to a domain is blocked using this filter, the site may still be ac-
cessed by directly entering the IP address.
Item Description
Add filter button Create a new DNS filter. Up to 100 filters can be created.
Delete button Delete items with check-marks [9].
Put a [9] in the box on the left side of the item to delete.
To select all DNS filters, put a [9] in the box beside the [Do-
main] title.

Toggles the DNS filter default action.
• [Block: All other domain (White list)]: Blocks access to all
domains other than the ones listed.
• [Pass: All other domain (Black list)]: Allows access to all do-
mains other than the ones listed.
Domain Shows the allowed/blocked domain(s).
Import button Import the DNS filter settings.
1) Click the [Import] button.
The message "Overwrite the DNS filter list in this group.
Are you sure?" appears.
2) Click the [OK] button.
The [Open] dialog box appears.
3) Select the zip file of the DNS filter settings to import, then
click the [Open] button.
The message "Input a password for the import file if nec-
essary" appears.
4) If a password was set when the filter settings were export-
ed, input the password.
5) Click the [OK] button.
6) Input the administrator password.
7) Click the [OK] button.
8) Click the [Close] button.
Export button Export the DNS filter settings.
1) Click the [Export] button.
The message "Input a password for the export file if nec-
essary." appears.
2) Input a password as necessary. This password will be re-
quested when the settings are imported.
3) Click the [OK] button.
The [Save] dialog box appears.
4) Click the [Save] button.
The DNS filter data is saved in zip format.
Note: Do not unzip the archives. Unzipped files cannot be
imported.
