Fish mapping features description
Sea temperature
[SST Contours]: Show the water temperatures in your selected area. Use these con-
tours to help locate your target species based on their preferred temperature range.
The contours are colored in shades of red and the temperature values are shown in
orange. Updated every three hours.
[SST Fronts]: Show estimated strength of ocean fronts. These “fronts” concentrate
nutrients which attract bait fish and also create barriers to fish movement. The fronts
are colored in shades of red and the front strengths are shown in orange. Front
strength is indicated with a numeral from 1-4, 4 being the highest strength. Updated
every 24 hours.
