1. Remove vertical column assembly. Refer to Section 4-1.
2. Remove follower cable. Refer to Section 4Ć3Ć5.
3. Remove lower brake and bearings. Refer to Sections 4Ć7 and 4Ć8.
4. Remove hex head bolt and flat washers securing column base assembly to vertical
column. See Illustration 4-13.

5. Pull column base assembly and spacers from vertical column.
