THE OPERATIONS DESCRIBED BELOW CAN
ALSO BE CARRIED OUT EVEN WHEN THE
SUSPENSION IS FITTED
Remove the lower retainer of the sliding stem
shown in the photograph.
Remove the sliding stem locking device retainers
indicated in the photograph.
Check that the sliding stem locking device does
not show signs of abnormal wear.
