features described in this manual may not
be installed onto your vehicle or are only

About the system
The fatigue driving reminder system identi-
fies the driver's fatigue level by continu-
ously detecting the driver's operation of
the vehicle. If the system recognizes driver
fatigue, sound and visual alarms will be
given, to alert the driver to drive with care.
Warning

Fatigue driving is strictly prohibited.
Reasonable parking intervals should al-
ways be arranged for long-distance driv-
ing to ensure adequate rest.

It is always the driver's responsibility to
ensure that he/she is in a good driving
condition.
〉
Fatigue driving warning function is only
an auxiliary tool and may not be able to
actually monitor driver fatigue. In some
cases, the system may judge normal
driving behavior as fatigue.
How to use
The fatigue driving reminder function can
be turned on or off via the 【vehicle set-
ting】 → 【driving】 on the multimedia.
Fatigue alarm
When the system monitors the following
conditions, the combination instrument dis-
plays a “Reminder: Take a Break” alarm
screen, accompanied by an audible alarm.

The system detects that the driver is in a
fatigue driving condition and the vehicle
speed exceeds 80 km/h.
〉
The vehicle has been driven for 4 con-
secutive hours.
Warning
〉
While the speed of the vehicle remains
less than 80 km/h, the system will not
activate the warning even if the driver
shows signs of fatigue.
〉
In some situations, the driver's abilities
may be unaffected even though he is fa-
tigued. In such circumstances, the sys-
tem will not issue a warning to the driver.
For this reason, when the driver shows
signs of fatigue, it is very important to
stop the vehicle and rest in a timely
manner, regardless of whether the driv-
er-status monitoring system has issued
a warning.

This feature cannot be used to loosen
driving restrictions. Regular stops must
be arranged during a long drive to guar-
antee ample rest.
