When the intelligent key is carried, directly
press the ignition switch to change the ig-
nition switch mode.

When the intelligent key is carried,
depress the brake pedal with the shift lev-
er in the P position. The vehicle can be
started by pressing the ignition switch re-
gardless of the mode of the ignition switch.
Caution

Do not place the intelligent key on the in-
strument panel, on the ground, on the
combination instrument, in the storage
box, or in the luggage area. Otherwise, it
may not be possible to switch the igni-
tion modes.

When you leave vehicle, turn the ignition
switch to the LOCK mode and take the
key with you.
