Vehicle equipment
Please note that this manual contains all
the standard equipment, country-specific
equipment and special equipment for this
model series. Thus, some equipment or
features described in this manual may not
be installed onto your vehicle or are only
available in some markets. For the further
configuration information, please refer to
relevant sales information or consult with
your distributor selling the vehicle to you.
Driving in foggy weather
Turn on the fog lamps
While driving in fog, you should turn on the
fog lamps.
Sound horn to warn pedestrians
and vehicles
Hearing horn of other vehicles, respond
immediately by sounding your horn to indi-
cate your position.
Drive at low speed and look out
for safety
When driving in foggy weather, try to travel
at a low speed and keep a sufficient safe
distance from the vehicle ahead.
Do not wipe fog on the glass dur-
ing vehicle running
Due to large temperature difference inside
and outside the cab, mist often conden-
sates on inside surface of windshield that
affects driver’s sight. In this case, you can
use the A/C defrosting function or open
vehicle windows a little to have a same air
temperature inside and outside, preventing
condensation formed on inside surface of
windshield.
If you wish to wipe away the condensation
on the windshield glass, please do so only
after bringing the vehicle to a stop. Never
try to do so while driving the vehicle.
Driving in the rain
Please drive carefully on slippery
road surfaces
As poor view, foggy windshield and slip-
pery road are likely to occur when running
on rainy days, please drive carefully.
Emergency braking, acceleration and sud-
den steering on wet and slippery road will
cause tire skid and vehicle becomes un-
controllable, which easily leads to acci-
dent.
While driving in rain, a film of water is likely
to form between the tire and the ground.
At this time the tire is easy to lose grip, so
slow down driving.
Warning
Try to avoid driving in a heavy rain or rain-
storm.
Fording drive
Precautions for fording drive
Before fording drive, you shall confirm
the water depth of the road area. If there
is more water or the water depth is un-
known, the vehicle needs to bypass and
it is forbidden to pass forcedly.
