Please note that this manual contains all
the standard equipment, country-specific
equipment and special equipment for this
model series. Thus, some equipment or
features described in this manual may not
be installed onto your vehicle or are only
available in some markets. For the further
configuration information, please refer to
relevant sales information or consult with
your distributor selling the vehicle to you.
Traffic accidents occur to
vehicles
When the vehicle is forced to stop on road
because of traffic accidents or vehicle fail-
ure, in order to warn other vehicles, please
take the following measures:
〉
Turn on the emergency flashers.
〉
Please place the warning triangle behind
your vehicle in accordance with local
traffic laws and regulations.
Trapped vehicle accident
Drive with care on snow-covered, muddy
or sandy surfaces to guard against sink-
ing.
In cases where the vehicle is trapped, try
the following steps:
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK mode
to shut off the vehicle and confirm that
the parking brake is applied.
2. Remove the mud, snow or sand around
the stuck tires.
3. Place wood blocks, stones or other
materials to help improve the tire adhe-
sion.
4. Start the vehicle again.
5. Release the parking brake and acceler-
ate carefully to get the vehicle out of
the pit.
If you cannot free the vehicle through the
above method, you need a trailer to res-
cue.
Warning
While freeing the vehicle, you should pay
attention to the following:
〉
Make sure that the surrounding area is
clear and free from any other vehicles,
objects, or persons.
〉
The moment the vehicle gets out from
the pit, it will suddenly rush forward or
backward, so be careful.
