〉
When analyzing road conditions, do not
allow the vehicle to enter an unknown
region. Such regions may contain hid-
den obstacles, such as ditches or man-
holes.
〉
While fording in the water, keep low
speed (speed should not exceed 10
km/h) and do not park or switch gears.
〉
When the vehicle passes an intersec-
tion, try to avoid the waves generated by
the preceding vehicle to prevent water
from entering the front grille.
〉
Do not attempt to restart the vehicle if it
is accidentally stopped during a wading
operation, as this could result in serious
vehicle damage. Please contact the trail-
er as soon as possible to drag the vehi-
cle to a dry place.
Check and maintenance after
fording
Once the vehicle has been safely driven
through water, perform the following oper-
ations immediately:
〉
Step on the brake pedal a few times
consecutively, and check whether brake
performance has been compromised.
〉
Check the horn.
〉
Check all vehicle lamps.
〉
Please head to service provider as soon
as possible for routine check. When the
vehicle passes through water, water may
enter the components of transmission
system and dilute lubricant, which may
lead to system malfunctions.
Caution
〉
Travel in water is only applicable in
emergency situations and it cannot be
used as a part of routine driving.
〉
Travel in water may damage the engine
and electrical components.
Driving during the hot sea-
sons
Hot weather and high temperature in sum-
mer are bad for the normal vehicle running
and the health of driver. To ensure driving
safety, the driver shall pay attention to the
following items:
Preventing the engine from over-
heating
The engine is prone to overheating in the
hot season due to higher ambient temper-
ature. Therefore, please step up the in-
spection and maintenance of the engine
cooling system, and remove debris em-
bedded in the radiator chips.
Preventing flat tire
As air pressure in the vehicle tire rises with
temperature increase, flat tire is likely to
occur in case of hot weather and high tem-
perature in hot season.
If you experience a flat tire in the course of
the drive, hold the steering wheel securely,
step gently on the brake pedal to deceler-
ate, and avoid actions such as emergency
braking or sudden steering. Failure to ad-
here to the advice may cause the vehicle
to go out of control.
