be checked regularly.
Check that the fluid level in the overflow
tank is between the minimum and maxi-
mum marked levels.
If the coolant level is lower than the mini-
mum level marked, top up with new cool-
ant until the coolant level is between the
maximum and minimum levels marked. Al-
so make sure that the cooling system
shows no signs of leakage.
Filling
When the engine and drive motor cools,
slowly open the lid to let the pressure out.
If the coolant spills, clean it up immediately
to prevent parts or paint from being dam-
aged.
Be sure to use the specified type of cool-
ant.
Caution
〉
The coolant contains ethylene glycol to
lower its freezing point. Indiscriminate
disposal may lead to water pollution.
〉
Do not open the overflow tank cover
when the engine compartment is at a
high temperature. There may still be
some pressure inside the cooling sys-
tem. Opening it at this point may cause
burns or other injuries when heated
coolant spurts out.
〉
When replacing the coolant or when the
drive motor battery is very short of cool-
ant, contact service provider.
Windshield washer fluid
Filling
Open the tank cover. Pour in washer fluid
slowly to prevent overflow. Any oil overflow
must be removed immediately.
You should use quality washer fluid for
better cleaning capabilities and for anti-
freeze protection in cold season.
Warning
Do not top up washing fluid when the en-
gine is at a high temperature, or when the
engine is running. The washing liquid con-
tains alcohol, so there is a danger of fire if
it splashes onto the engine.
Caution
Please do not top up liquids such as soapy
water into the tank in place of the washing
fluid. Otherwise, the paint on vehicle body
may be damaged.
