System introduction
When driving on a straight highway, the
cruise assist system can keep the vehicle
running at the set speed without stepping
on the accelerator pedal. When the sys-
tem detects that the driving speed of the
vehicle ahead is lower than the cruising
speed set by the vehicle, it will follow the
vehicle ahead at a set safe distance.
Vehicles equipped with intelligent cruise
assist mode can also keep driving in the
middle of the lane when cruising.
Notice
When the intelligent cruise assist mode is
under operation state, the intelligent dodge
function will be turned on at the same
time.
Warning
〉
The cruise assist system is only an auxil-
iary tool and is not a substitute for the
driver's judgment of road and traffic con-
ditions, nor it can replace the driver's
driving. In any case, the driver should be
responsible for the safety of the vehicle
and always concentrate on driving care-
fully.
〉
When cruise assist system is not in use,
turn it off to avoid incorrect operation.
〉
Incorrect use of cruise assist system
may result in a crash.
〉
The cruise assist system can only be
used when driving on a clear road in
good weather conditions.
〉
The cruise assist system is not recom-
mended for use in conditions such as ur-
ban areas, winding roads, narrow roads,
wet and slippery roads, heavy rain or
other harsh weather conditions.
〉
When driving on a slope, the cruise as-
sist system is not recommended, based
on the following points:
The cruise assist system cannot main-
tain the set speed when driving up and
down the slope.
After a preceding vehicle has passed the
top or bottom of a slope, the cruise as-
sist system may not detect the preced-
ing vehicle, causing sudden acceleration
or late braking.
