Closing
1. Lift the hood up slightly.
2. Remove the strut and return the hood
to its original position.
3. Release the engine hood at a height of
about 30cm from the engine hood lock
and allow the hood to descend without
aid.
4. Make sure the engine hood is fully
locked.
Warning
Make sure that the engine hood is fully
closed and secured prior to driving. Other-
wise it may open unexpectedly during ve-
hicle running that leads to accident.
Caution

Before closing the engine hood, make
sure that there is no debris left inside the
engine compartment.
