Ⓐ Minimum
Ⓑ Maximum
Stop the vehicle on flat ground. Warm up
the engine to normal water temperatures,
and then switch the ignition switch to
LOCK mode. Wait for 10 minutes before
conducting the engine oil level check.
The oil level should be between the maxi-
mum and minimum levels marked on the
oil dipstick.
If the engine oil level is close to or lower
than the minimum level marked, top up en-
gine oil until it is at a level between the
maximum and minimum levels marked.
Notice
The actual size and shape of the oil dip-
stick varies by engine model.
Warning
〉
When the engine is running, close con-
tact with rotating parts such as the strap
or fan may cause your hand, clothing,
tools, etc., to be trapped with severe
consequences.
〉
Care should be taken to prevent burns
when checking or filling engine oil.
〉
Keep the engine oil in a safe place when
it is not in use. Engine oil that leaks into
the ground or enters into bodies of water
causes environmental pollution.
Filling
Open the engine oil filler cap, and slowly
pour the oil so as to avoid oil spill. Any oil
overflow must be removed immediately.
Otherwise, the spilled oil may cause dam-
age to the compartment components.
Engine oil plays an important role in ensur-
ing engine performance and longevity.
Therefore, it is important that you use
quality, purified oil. Please use only engine
oil that meets specifications so as to en-
sure the vehicle performance.
Oil additives
Your vehicle does not require any oil addi-
tives, as additives can not improve the
performance and durability of the engine.
Caution
〉
Therefore, check and replace engine oil
on a regular basis. Otherwise, insuffi-
cient oil levels or deteriorated engine oil
can cause engine parts to be under-lu-
bricated, thereby causing sintering and
hence damage to the engine.

Engine oil has lubricating and cooling ef-
fects. Even in normal driving, some oil
that lubricates pistons and valves may
