Turn the rotation adjustment knob to
change the sensitivity settings for the rain-
fall and light sensor in order to adjust the
wiping frequency of the front wiper at the
auto wiping position.
Warning
The rainfall and light sensor does not
fully recognize each precipitation and
activate the front wiper. If rain on the
windshield glass affects the line of sight,
you shall manually adjust the front wiper
gear or wiper frequency timely as re-
quired.
When the automatic front wiper is in the
AUTO position, the front wiper may op-
erate unexpectedly if it touches the
windshield near the inside rearview mir-
ror from outside the vehicle or the wind-
shield glass is vibrated. Be careful not to
grip your fingers and other parts by the
front wiper.
Do not place the automatic front wiper in
the AUTO position when you wash the
car or no front wiper is required to be
used. Otherwise, the front wiper may op-
erate unexpectedly.
Caution
If the surface of the windshield glass
near the inside rearview mirror is dirty or
attached with any foreign object (snow,
gum, etc.), please clean it first and re-
move the foreign object, otherwise it
may affect the normal operation of the
automatic wiper.
Even if snowflakes come in contact with
the rainfall and light sensor, the sensor
may not operate normally and the front
wipers may not function, as snowflakes
come in different shapes. The snow mel-
ted may cause the front wiper to auto-
matically brush.
